The International Papillomavirus Society has announced that Australia is working towards eliminating cervical cancer entirely.
In a recent study, Australia’s focus on distributing a human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for free in schools have been very successful. Sexually transmitted infection causes 99.9 percent of cases of cervical cancer.
